It was against the dark backdrop of the Second World War that eight pre-war Filipino contractors banded together to form the Philippine Constructors Association and later became the fathers of the PCA. Today, behind the success of the Association is a team of individuals who uphold the same conduct of integrity as their founding fathers. The PCA operates through a Board of Directors composed of the President, two Vice Presidents, a Secretary, Treasurer, and ten directors. Its policy operations revolve around 15 committees categorized into two general groupings, namely, the External Affairs Committees and the Internal Affairs Committees. Each committee is headed by a director. Supporting the Board of Directors is a Legal Counsel and a Secretariat headed by an appointed Executive Director. The Secretariat primarily functions to meet the demands of the day-to-day operations of the Association.
